Horseboxes and Vehicle Tracking

Nowadays alot of horseboxes come fitted with a tracking device as standard. This has ony been a fairly recent addition to the standard vehicle. Should your vehicle not have tracking fitted or you are looking to update your tracking system, Sprint’s solutions work perfectly for you.

Unlike other tracking systems, our system tracks your vehicle live, in real time. No updating every 1 minute, 5 minutes or twice a day, the web site will supply not only your vehicles location, live, but the speed it is travelling at, the speed it has travelled at, all the stops and starts it has made, in short a full history, which dates back to the installation of the device in your vehicle.

Coupled with ease of installation and the ability to easiy transfer to another vehicle, geo-fencing (allowing peace of mind), no visible aerials or any identifying marks, we feel that our solution is perfect for you.

To discuss your requirements, please phone Sprint on 0844 264 0730.

Ease of Installation of Momentum Device

Our Vehicle Tracking solution, Momentum, is renowned for its revolutionary ease of install by the end user. It is also possible to easily transfer the device from vehicle to vehicle, eliminating any on-going installation costs.

To install the unit, it is a simple 3-wire installation procedure, with the device being placed inside the vehicle, near the windscreen, we recommend hiding the unit behind the stereo. The device should not be installed under the car bonnet or boot as this could impede the units performance.

To transfer a unit from vehicle to vehicle, it is simply a case of unplugging the unit and reinstalling ithe unit the new vehicle. This ease of installation and transfer is allowing Sprint to gain many new orders in the car and van rental marketplace.

First trial of UK Company under Corporate Manslaughter Act 2007

The first UK Company to be charge under the 2007 Corporate Manslaughter Act is underway at Bristol Crown Court. If found guilty, the company director could be jailed for life.

The Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act came into force on 6 April 2008 and creates a new offence whereby an ‘organisation’ can be guilty of corporate manslaughter if the way in which its activities are managed or organised amounts to a gross breach of a duty of care towards an individual who dies as a result of that breach.

Our Lone Worker Tracking solution offers protection for both the Company and the Lone Worker. The Lone Worker has peace of mind knowing that should anything happen they are able to summon help through the device. The Company knows where their employee is during working hours and is able to keep an eye the employees security. This will help a company work within the Corporate Manslaughter Act and the Health and Safety at Work Act (1999).

BT and Lone Worker sales

Sprint’s relationship with BT is growing from strength to strength, month by month. Already in February one BT client has received delivery of 300 Sprint Venture Lone Worker handsets. The client is a reputable Care Organisation and we will be working with them for the foreseeable future to tailor their solution and enabling them to reap all of the rewards.

A key point for the Care Organisation is the fact that with the revolutionary Sprint handset they will have covered their Corporate Manslaughter responsibilities and provided their mobile workforce with the relevant duty of care they require.

A second BT Client has just received 50 vehicle tracking devices, 20 units are for the cab and 30 units are for the refrigerated trailers. Due to Sprint’s great relationship with their German manufacturing/software partners we will be able very quickly to provide the client with an excellent bespoke temperature report.

For more information phone Sprint on 0844 264 0730.

Lone Worker Safety

Here at Sprint we supply a system that monitors people (lone worker tracking systems). Our systems offer an excellent way of both managing and protecting your staff. A lone worker can often find themselves placed in potentially hazardous situations, such as a NHS Visitor in the home of a stranger or a security guard delivering goods to a factory.

The employer has the responsibility of protecting lone workers, this responsibility extends to wherever the lone worker is in the field. Our tracking systems can even raise an alert if the user is injured, falls over or in trouble. We also include a Panic button for the lone worker to raise an alarm if they find themselves in a distressing situation!

With the new duty of care act, the emphasis is placed on the employer, so give Sprint a ring on 0844 264 0730 to discuss your requirements further.
